My Ministry

God has grown in me an incredible passion for teaching, and my ministry this year will be focused on developing a culturally and socially mindful discipleship curriculum called the IMN Apprenticeship Program that participants can walk through to launch onto the long-term mission field for the first time. This program will help participants acclimate to life on the mission field, and explore the plethora of ways one can minister to communities in Guatemala and other mission fields abroad. The program will follow a mobile itinerary that allows participants to experience the cultural and spiritual diversity of the mission field.

We are called to make disciples of all nations, but if we are not standing on the unshakable foundation of God’s truth, we will not make true disciples of Jesus. My heart’s desire is to equip new missionaries with the truth of who God says they are and what they were made to do so they can can impart these truths to the people they serve and see the Kingdom of Heaven ushered onto the earth through their Holy Spirit empowered ministries.

Where I Serve

I am currently living and serving in Jocotenango, Guatemala, a community just outside of the city of Antigua, Guatemala. Jocotenango is the site of the IMN Missionary Home where I am currently writing the IMN Apprenticeship Program.

How We Make Disciples

There is no greater commission from Jesus’s time on the earth than that of Matthew 28 to go and make disciples of all nations. I have always interpreted this piece of scripture to mean going to the unreached nations and preaching the Gospel to those who have never heard the name of Jesus. While this is a very important way to live out the great commission, in this season God has directed me to disciple the disciple makers. Though my work as the Director of the IMN Apprenticeship Program, I work every day to raise up the next generation of international missionaries to truly understand how to disciple the people they serve by speaking the powerful truth of our identity as Children of God with access to our inheritance of life with the Holy Spirit to communities that God longs to see living under the authority of the Kingdom of Heaven.
