Who We Are

Independent Missionary Network exists to come alongside missionaries and ministry leaders as they follow God’s calling.

We believe God is the one who calls and sends His people into ministry. Our role is to come alongside them—to provide encouragement, accountability, practical support, and a network of relationships that helps missionaries faithfully fulfill their calling.

We serve missionaries from different backgrounds, cultures, and ministry contexts, united by a common commitment to Jesus Christ and the mission of making disciples among the nations.

Our Mission

IMN exists to support, network, and equip missionaries to use their unique, God-given gifts to build relationships and bring the Gospel to all people groups to make disciples of all nations.

What We Believe

God
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy and infinitely perfect.

Scripture
We believe the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God and are without error in the original writings.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man…

Humanity and Sin
We believe God created humanity in His image, but that Adam and Eve sinned…

Salvation
We believe Jesus Christ shed His blood as the perfect and sufficient sacrifice for our sins, died, and rose again…

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ and works in the lives of believers…

The Mission of the Church
We believe God calls His people to love Him, love others, make disciples, and proclaim the Gospel to all nations.

Our Story

Independent Missionary Network began from a desire to help missionaries faithfully follow God’s calling without having to walk alone.

From the beginning, IMN has believed that God—not an organization—is the one who calls people into ministry. Our role is to come alongside those missionaries, providing relationship, encouragement, practical support, and accountability as they serve.

Today, IMN serves missionaries and ministry leaders working in different countries and ministry contexts. Though their callings and ministries are diverse, they share a common desire to make Christ known and make disciples among the nations.

Founded by Keith & Dawn Brutout

Keith and Dawn established IMN out of a desire to serve missionaries and help them pursue the call God had placed on their lives.
