Dennis & Chochy Ruano
Chochy and I met when we were both serving in a national youth summer camp. We started being friends without knowing that we both had in common a clear purpose for our life – to serve the Lord and dedicate our lives to Him. After a while of knowing each other, we decided to not only spend the rest of our lives together, but also place our talents serve God and others. Together we have spent almost 18 years sharing the love and of service to God.
God has blessed us with 3 marvelous children who at their very young age share with us the passion of serving God and of preaching His word. They have decided to prepare themselves and also place their talents to serving God full time when the time comes.
We preach the Gospel in all parts of our country, Guatemala, through our free dental medical journeys. We hold these journeys in schools, churches, and health centers with the idea that when we show the love of God by meeting the dental needs of the needy and those who do not have access to health services.
Chochy and the band also have concerts for children in schools, parks and churches. They bring forth the word of God to all the children who come to the concerts, planting the seed that is the word of God.
Parallel to the work that we do at camps, we are pastors of the church Camino y Verdad (Truth and the Way) in the city of Guatemala zone 12. We have a congregation that is composed of 200 members, a place where we are working to grow out our church by winning new souls for Christ.
We are convinced that it is the will of God to continue to extend His kingdom and that we motivate all those who know of him and want to place their talents to His service.
Chochy y yo nos conocimos mientras serviamos en un campamento Nacional de verano para Jovenes . Empezamos a ser amigos sin saber que ambos teniamos en comun un proposito claro en nuesta vida, Servir a Dios y dedicar nuestras vidas a El. Luego de un tiempo de conocernos decidimos no solo pasar el resto de Nuestra vida Juntos, si no tambien poner nuestros talentos al servicio de Dios y de los demas. Juntos llevamos casi 18 años de compartir el amor y servicio al Señor.
Dios nos ha dado 3 hijos maravillosos quienes a su corta edad comparten con nosotros la pasion por servir a Dios y predicar su palabra. Ellos han decidido prepararse y poner tambien sus talentos al servicio del Señor a tiempo completo cuando llegue el momento.
Predicamos el Evangelio en todas partes de nuestro pais Guatemala A traves de jornadas dentales gratuitas las cuales realizamos en Iglesias, Escuelas y centros de Salud con la unica finalidad de mostrar el amor de Cristo atendiendo las necesidades dentales de los mas necesitados y de todos aquellos que no tienen acceso a servicios de Salud.
Chochy y su Banda realizan conciertos para niños en Escuelas parques e Iglesias, llevando a traves de canciones la palabra de Dios a todos esos niños que se acercan a los conciertos y sembrando en ellos la palabra de Dios .
Paralelo al trabajo que realizamos en el campo, somos pastores en la iglesia Camino y verdad en la zona 12 de la Ciudad de Guatemala. Una congregacion de 200 miembros, lugar donde estamos trabajando para hacer crecer nuestra iglesia, ganando nuevas almas para Cristo.
Estamos convencidos de que la voluntad de Dios es que sigamos extendiendo su reino y que motivemos a todos los que le conocen y quieren servirle a poner sus talentos a su servicio.
