Walk Alongside Missionaries Through Prayer

Prayer is one of the most meaningful ways you can walk alongside missionaries.

Independent Missionary Network exists to support, network, and equip missionaries as they follow God’s calling to make disciples among the nations. We believe prayer is foundational to that work. Our missionaries serve in diverse places and circumstances, but they share a common need: faithful people who will stand with them in prayer.

You don’t have to travel overseas to participate in God’s mission. You can pray.

Pray for Our Missionaries

Missionary ministry comes with both great opportunities and significant challenges. Pray for the men, women, and families serving throughout the world.

Ask God to:

Give missionaries wisdom, courage, and faithfulness as they serve.
Strengthen marriages and families living and serving far from home.
Provide opportunities to build meaningful relationships and share the Gospel.
Help missionaries make disciples and equip local believers to carry the work forward.
Give them wisdom as they navigate cultural, spiritual, and practical challenges.
Provide for their financial, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Protect them and their families as they travel and serve.
Encourage them when ministry feels difficult or progress seems slow.
Help them remain rooted in Christ and dependent upon Him.
Raise up local leaders and strengthen churches in the places where they serve.

Pray for the People They Serve

Behind every missionary is a community of people whom God loves.

Pray for those who have not yet heard the Gospel. Pray for people who have been pushed to the margins of society, for families facing poverty and hardship, for children and young people, and for communities where the Church is still taking root.

Pray that people would encounter Jesus, respond to the Gospel, and become disciples who make disciples.

Pray for IMN Ministries and Projects

IMN missionaries serve in many different contexts and through a variety of ministries and projects.

Pray for:

Churches being planted and strengthened.
Discipleship and pastoral training.
Medical and dental ministries.
Education and ministry among children and young people.
Community development projects.
Clean water and clean stove initiatives.
Teams serving alongside missionaries.
Opportunities to share the Gospel through practical acts of love and service.
The resources and partnerships needed to continue these ministries.

Pray for God’s Direction

Most importantly, pray that God’s purposes would be accomplished.

Pray for open doors, receptive hearts, faithful workers, and opportunities for the Gospel to advance among the nations.
