Jasmine Casady Photography
“Photographer for the mission field”
“Jasmine grew up in a Christian household and attended a small church throughout her childhood. During her time at this church, they hosted a mission trip that several members were able to attend. Jasmine was only 12 at the time, but a fire lit within her that day which has never burned out. Even though she was unable to attend this specific trip, that flame remained lit for years to come. Fast forward to 2021, Jasmine began attending Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia. Not long after she started attending, the church announced their yearly mission trips. Immediately, she scanned the QR code, scrolled down, and her heart skipped a beat as she stopped in Guatemala. “That’s it.” She said. Fast forward again a few more years, Jasmine has been to Guatemala countless times and has listened to God’s calling for her life: being a photographer for the mission field.
Jasmine pursued her love for photography from the first moment she got her hands on a camera. From shooting landscapes to macro photos of families, couples, and weddings, she realized God wanted her to use this talent elsewhere. Jasmine’s ministry is primarily in Guatemala; however, her heart is big on traveling the world. While a variety of connections are being formed, Jasmine plans to travel and capture what is happening in different locals throughout the world. Along with photography, Jasmine plans to use her musical talents and ESL teaching experience to the glory of God. Her main mission is to be a voice through a lens in a world that is silent for God.
Through sickness, a venomous spider bite, spiritual warfare, chronic pain, and broken bones, God has truly shown Jasmine that she needs to trust, have peace in His plan, and surrender her entire life to Him.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 “
