Jonathan & Brenda

Brenda y Jonathan son una pareja de Puerto Barrios. Se conocieron en la escuela, fueron novios por 7 años, y luego se casaron. Ahora tienen una hija hermosa su nombre es Génesis y están esperando un bebé. Son una familia divertida y extrovertida a la vez.
Brenda comenzó a trabajar en el ministerio de El Faro en 2008, como secretaria, luego se le dio la oportunidad de trabajar en el área de contabilidad.
Jonathan comenzó a trabajar en el ministerio de El Faro en 2012, en el área de contabilidad y luego empezó su llamado de trabajar con Dios en los ministerios del grupo de Jóvenes y club Bíblico de niños.
En 2016 tuvieron el llamado de servir a Dios en el ministerio de Futbol a tiempo completo.
En el ministerio Jonathan y Brenda han estado enseñando sobre la palabra de Dios a los niños y jóvenes que vienen a la academia de futbol y usan como plataforma el futbol para que se motiven a venir aprender. En el pasado, Jonathan tuvo la oportunidad de jugar fútbol y lo que aprendió lo ha puesto en práctica con los chicos como entrenador de fútbol ahora. También han estado con el rol de ser mentores para los niños y jóvenes por medio de las relaciones de amistad que tienen con ellos e incluso con sus padres. Visitan a las familias de los niños y jóvenes que tienen en la academia de futbol y familias de escasos recursos para ver sus necesidades y orar por ellos.
Brenda and Jonathan are both from Puerto Barrios. They met in school, dated for seven years, and then got married. They now have a precious daughter named Genesis and are expecting a baby boy. They are a fun and extroverted family.
Brenda started working at the ministry El Faro in 2008, as a secretary. Then she was given the opportunity to work in accounting. Jonathan started working at the ministry El Faro in 2012 in accounting. Later he felt called to volunteer in the youth group and kids’ Bible club. In 2016 they were called to serve God in working full-time with the soccer ministry.
Brenda and Jonathan have been teaching the kids and teens who come to the soccer academy about the Word of God. They use soccer as a platform to encourage the kids to come and learn. In the past, Jonathan had the opportunity to play semi-professional soccer. Now as a coach in each practice with the kids he’s able to use what he learned playing. Brenda and Jonathan have also been mentors for the kids and teens through their friendships with them and with their parents. They visit the families of each of the kids in the soccer academy and families that are in need to be able to see their needs and pray for them.
