After Uriel graduated from high school he decided that he wanted to serve God and share the gospel with others. Uriel started as a volunteer in Youth For Christ Guatemala (YFC) in the Campus Ministry. After that, he became half-staff working in the Campus Life Ministry and The Drama Team. In 2011 Uriel felt the call to be a full-time missionary and started to move in that direction. At the end of 2011, he became the Director for Youth for Christ for Guatemala City where he helped to establish a campus life program at the public university (San Carlos de Guatemala).

In 2015 he moves to Canada for a full year to work alongside with YFC in the Kawartha Lakes area, specificity working in a little town name Lakefield here he was in charge of two after-school programs.

Also because he is a graphic designer and a photographer, he was able to help in this areas for the Kawartha’s YFC programs.

At the end of 2016, Uriel came back to Guatemala to continue working alongside with different ministries contributing to share the gospel, especially with the youth, also helping with photography and video in mission trips to Guatemala.

For this 2017 Uriel wants to continue flowing his heart for missions, working with the youth and spreading the good news of Jesus.

Now he is working alongside with IMN helping with the mission’s teams, in photography, video, translating and helping with logistics.

Also, he is starting to develop a missionary plan to help the Mayans communities bringing Guatemalans, and people from Canada and the US working together to help the Mayans in their needs like medical trips, construction, training and sharing the gospel.

Also this year he is starting a new Drama Team and train young people to use the arts to share who Jesus is.

He is a volunteer with Misión El Faro, AECM, and YFC Canadá.
