It’s our joy to share the powerful ways God is moving with our IMN family! This week’s praise report comes from our missionaries Rachel and Nolo Garcia with Iglesia del Destino Guatemala. Rachel and Nolo met a single mother and her four children who were in desperate need of new living conditions. They were recently evicted from the room they had been renting and were left to their own devices for finding a new home. The family tried to construct a house out of scraps on a piece of property, but it was not sustainable for the long run. There were roof leaks and insufficient materials to properly close in the sides. Rachel and Nolo decided that they were going to find a way to build her family a new home, starting the very first home building project Iglesia del Destino Guatemala has ever done! Together, with funding from Destiny Church Leesburg, Rachel and Nolo gathered the community together to build this mother and her family a safehaven. Now, she and her children are safe, dry, and have a place to cook and live comfortably! Hallelujah!
Rachel and Nolo, we celebrate with you and we are so proud of you and the community for sharing the heart of God as you partnered with the Lord to provide a new home for this beautiful family.
